Desert Trip’s inaugural weekend featured six of the biggest rock acts on the planet–The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Roger Waters and The Who–taking over the Empire Polo Club in Indio for 75,000 or so fans Oct. 7-9.
It was nothing short of epic and the bands will play an encore this weekend, Oct. 14-16, at the same venue. Plus, you can still get tickets for that one.
Although the event is held at the same venue as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the Stagecoach Country Music Festival, Desert Trip is very different, from the giant grandstands to the art installations. At Desert Trip, people can take photos with some of the best albums from the artists performing.
