Photos: Bikers answer O.C. Rescue Mission call for diapers


Babies need diapers like bikers need the wide open road.

Orange County Rescue Mission put out an SOS: Send diapers. And the bike club Sic Psycles Familia answered the call.

On Sunday, more than 100 motorcyclists rode in procession from the Inland Empire to Tustin to deliver 200 boxes of diapers. The Village of Hope has faced a diaper shortage due to an influx of families with infants who live at the shelter or go there for services.

Children and their parents cheerfully greeted members of the Empire chapter as they arrived bearing diapers and wipes.

Sic Psycles Familia – which has nine chapters in California, Nevada and Arizona -raises money to help families in need, according to its mission statement.
