River Rock Concert Series

Shake, rattle and roll your way into the weekend with a Wednesday night concert in the park at the River Rock Concert Series. Blankets and low-level lawn chairs are permitted at this festival-seating outdoor music series. A kids area will entertain the young ones while waiting for the music to begin. Picnics are permitted, along with water in a sealed bottle. There also will be a variety of food, wine and beer available for purchase. No pets. When: 7 p.m. Wednesdays, July 12-26. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Where: Riverfront Park Amphitheater, 200 Water St. NE. Cost: $10 to $30. Purchase a series pass for all three shows for $47. Children 10 and younger free with a paid adult. Monmouth Music in the Park

Monmouth’s Music in the Park is a midweek musical menagerie of tunes for all tastes, plus it’s free. Food and beverages, including beer and wine, will be available for purchase. There will be arts, crafts and garden activities for kids, but please leave pets at home. When: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m….
