A rags-to-riches British billionaire chemicals boss is planning to make workers take their morning tea break at the end of their shift, it was claimed today.

Contracted staff at the huge Ineos petrochemical plant in Grangemouth, Stirlingshire, are allegedly facing the possibility of an end to their 10am break.

Bosses at the plant owned by industrialist Jim Ratcliffe are said to believe it leads to ‘high levels of unproductive time’ in the mornings and will be ‘rescheduled’.
