LOS ANGELES — The wildfires raging in Los Angeles County have prompted a number of local colleges to close for the day on Thursday due to excessive smoke in the air.
UCLA, Cal State Northridge, Los Angeles Valley College, Los Angeles Mission College, Los Angeles Pierce College and Santa Monica College have canceled classes on Thursday.
