Filmmaking NIDians, Film & Video MDes students, Dhruv Satija and Shreyas Dasharathe were invited by Academy for International Communication of Chinese Culture (AICCC), Beijing Normal University to take part in the Looking China Youth Film Project to make a documentary on Chinese culture. Accompanied by faculty supervisor, Arun Gupta, the 22 year olds are back after the three-week filmmaking trip to Xiamen, China. The two videos made by them:

SET IN STONE by Dhruv Based on Huian stone shadow carving, a technique of imprinting photo-realistic paintings through hundreds of tiny dots hammered onto granite stone.

BETWEEN THE WALLS by Shreyas This one talks of the building and upkeep of historical red brick buildings in Daimei Village, Longhai.
