Boris Johnson says demonstrations are needed outside Russian embassy over war in Syria

Boris Johnson today demanded demonstrations take place outside Russia‘s embassy over Moscow’s involvement in the Syrian conflict.

The Foreign Secretary warned the ‘wells of outrage are growing exhausted’ by efforts to halt Russian aggression as the city of Aleppo faces destruction.

Mr Johnson questioned the failure of left-wing campaigners in the Stop the War Coalition to protest Russian action when they are swift to condemn British and American action.

The official Russian embassy twitter account dismissed Mr Johnson’s call this afternoon and claimed Britain had produced no evidence of atrocities.

In an emergency Commons debate today, MPs claimed Russia is responsible for committing war crimes in Syria and demanded Britain to review its relationship with President Vladimir Putin’s regime.
