STORY: Former U.S. President Bill Clinton told voters in Belle Glade, Florida that Democrat Hillary Clinton has a plan to help students pay back their college loans.
Her plan, if elected president, would include forgiveness of debt after a period of 10 years, if graduates took up a job in public service, Bill Clinton told supporters at the voter registration event.
“If you take any job, and you borrow $200,000, the rest is forgiven after 20 years, and you can never be charged more than 20% of your after-tax income,” the former president added.
