AffluenceIQ is excited to announce its “50 Richest in Massachusetts,” an exclusive listing of the 50 wealthiest individuals in Massachusetts.
Free access to the “50 Richest” list is available at AffluenceIQ’s web site: http://affluenceiq.com/50richest.php
Topping the list (with $35 billion) is not Abigail Johnson, but Sheldon Adelson, the right-wing casino mogul. Adelson is a Boston native, owns a home in Newton, and runs his charitable operations from Needham.
Diving deeper than Forbes or Bloomberg, AffluenceIQ research unveils not just billionaires, but numerous centimillionaires and multi-millionaires that comprise Massachusetts’ richest.
The firm’s database of the 2,000 richest people in Massachusetts is an indispensable tool for non-profit fund raisers, wealth managers, and marketers of luxury products.
“We’re very excited about our updated list,” said Publisher Mike Stern. “There have been a lot of changes in Massachusetts wealth in the past year. The surging stock market has created new billionaires and multi-billionaires.”
High Tech entrepreneurs Alan Trefler and Valentin Gapontsev have seen their fortunes soar over the past year. Trefler is the CEO of Cambridge, MA based software company, Pegasystems, and owns approximately 50% of the shares. Russian-born Gapontsev is the CEO of laser manufacturer, IPG Photonics.
Two new players added to the list include Wayfair co-founders Niraj Shah and Stephen Conine, both of whom control billion-dollar blocks of stock in the online furnishings company.
What separates AffluenceIQ from other wealth databases? AffluenceIQ provides a comprehensive dossier, not just a one-paragraph blurb.
